So well organised and such a fabulous day

Thanks to all volunteers, organisers, was a lovely race!

I only started running (5K Parkruns) last year so this was a big event for me and I absolutely loved it! I ran most but walked a bit and took photos because there was so much to see and enjoy. The drummers really helped! Really impressed that there was gluten free chocolate cake at the end! So inclusive in every way. Can’t wait for the next one!

Only downfall is the number of toilets.

I would never have expected the goody bag at the end. They are SO wonderful and full of genuinely lovely things, but I also wonder if they are necessary. I imagine it takes you a lot of time to source and get donations etc, and I saw that our entry fee only covers our costs. I'd love to know some of my money was actually going to RISE and the fundraising, that's a huge incentive to do it. If there are any costs involved with the extras like the goody bags, I'd be inclined to cut or reduce. Honestly, I was happy with the banana and a water!! Thank you.

Very proud to support Rise, excellent charity! Preparing for and doing this run that has been great for getting me back into running as an exercise. It’s also been lovely getting to know the other women in our little running team from Sisters Salon.

It would be good if there was stretching or a cool down session at the end. I know this is important for some runners especially newbies who will feel stiff the next day. Thank you.

Everyone is there for the best reasons. There's a friendly and considerate atmosphere. The weather was perfect too!

This was my first time doing Rise, I’ve done other races. I enjoyed everything about this, nice distance, beautiful scenery, friendly marshalls, great medal, great goodie bag, enjoyed the celebrity starter, even tried out some Altras for the event!

This was such a lovely, welcoming event - the marshalling and volunteers were all amazing, it had a great atmosphere and the live music on the course was really nice!!

Overall I had a great day. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was well organised and volunteers were amazing. The only thing I would change is putting photographers in high viz jackets. There was a man standing on the rocks by the event village filming with a phone, rather than camera...how long he was there I'm assuming was part of the media team but it would have been less worrying to have him identifiable as part of the team.

Everyone was so happy and so encouraging. The cake, water and banana was a lovely finishing gift and the medal and goodie bag blew me away. I loved all of it and am so grateful for the support we had along the way. I’m still buzzing thank you. So good to get our results as well.
