Wonderful and fun event

This was my second time running in this event and I loved it. Very well organised. I was so impressed with how quickly I received my number and loved the warm up routine, a great atmosphere! It would be great if the starting atmosphere continued along the route as it was so uplifting. Not necessarily live bands [although that would be great!] but more music/support along the rest of the route would really help as once you pass the 1k mark there is nothing until the half way point water break and then back again. Thank you. I will be back!

Great atmosphere and fab cakes

really lovely supportive atmosphere. I will definitely do it again. I think I was expensive for a run but happy for the money to go towards such a good cause

i will be returning it was my first run and certain not my last

I really enjoyed the event. All the volunteers, cadets and team was amazing. And great lay out. Marshals were kind and helpful. Cheering on everyone.

Only thing id say is I was confused with no 3km or 5km marker. I personally like the markers to help me see how far I am without distractions of technology:)

Organiser comment:

Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so pleased you enjoyed the event and that our fantastic volunteers and marshals helped make it a great experience. There were volunteers holding 3km and 5km markers out on the course, so we’re sorry you were unable to see these on the day. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we hope to see you again next year.

The energy was amazing and everyone, from volunteers to participants, was so supportive.

One thing maybe is positioning the stage and loudspeakers more towards the back ('village'bit) were the crowd was, as it was really difficult to hear and people weren't really paying much attention.

Friendly, fun, achievable 8k, well organised, great atmosphere, community spirit all for a great cause. Women supporting women all the way

The image on the medal looks like a man, any chance this could be updated to look more female. A great well organised event thank you x

Excellent and fun

Like the fact it is only females. To see all those women running together is inspiring.

Was my 10th RISE run and another fabulous event all round ! joyous, positive and empowering...

You would sell more merchandise if you revised the colours... who can get away wearing orange ?!
Please for next year could we have purple, green and other colours for hoodies ?
you would definitely sell them !!!
I'd have a couple....

A great atmosphere and plenty of marshalls

The port a loo for a wheelchair user was difficult for our friend to negotiate as the floor was not level.

Loved run - was tough - but will be back

Staff all AMAZING - Thanks - will be back next year! Maybe best to put all ‘rubbish bins’ together? Then everyone knows which bin to use (recycling/banana skins/general rubbish) If bins spread about more difficult to know what is available for recycling - and was well impressed with no plastic today!
Thanks again! Great event xxx
