The RISE 8K Undercliff Run for Women is a scenic run alongside Sussex’s famous chalk cliffs, from Saltdean towards Brighton and return back along the Undercliff path. It is RISE's signature, annual fundraising event. It is an established event in the Brighton running calendar, with 2025 being its 18th year. 

The event starts and finishes on the Undercliff Path, adjacent to the Whitecliffs Café in Saltdean postcode BN2 8SQ.

What is included?

All participants will receive an event medal, a goody bag filled with donations from local businesses, a banana, water and a slice of home-made cake as they cross the finish line!

The event also includes baggage storage, water stations along the route, music to keep you motivated, supportive route marshals, a medical team and chip timing that provides both gun and chip times. Lead bikes and tail walkers will be on hand to keep you safe. Event technical t-shirts and running vests are also available to purchase.

Standard entry includes all of the above, all we ask is for you to fundraise for RISE if you can, Brighton & Hove's Domestic Abuse charity.

Standard+ entry includes: Same as above + a donation to RISE (meaning you don't need to fundraise independently)
